Hi all, the chat about frequency stability has reminded me I have got hold
of a few unused SEI TCXOs for 16MHz. Not quite as useful as 10MHz but easily
divided down to 1MHz. The spec is not brilliant 2 in 10^6 over -10 to +60
deg C. I guess that equates to a few parts in 10^7 over normal shack
temperature ranges. At least It is probably better than an unknown crystal.
Unfortunately there is no voltage adjustment only a trimmer tweak. Well you
cant have everything !! They can go for £2-00 each (plus postage), which is
cheaper than a computer osc module, though these are a bit bigger. They run
at 5volt, give TTL logic level output, and have a drive capability (fan-out)
of I TTL input.
