I have just had the shack/office redecorated and carpeted (luxury at last).
During this time all the computer and ham radio gear had to be dismantled
although I did manage a contact on 73kHz from the garden shed on Tuesday.
The shack is now back together but I wont be transmitting on 73kHz tonight -
we have visitors and 73kHz transmissions require some degree of supervision
due to the very high voltages on my small antenna.

Will be monitoring the k index more closely in future!
