Subject: [LW] Borneo - LF

Ive been looking for the last couple of nights but not a lot seen - the
Loran lines actually get brighter at night here and are not seen during
the day at 137Khz. QRN isn't that bad, as the storms have subsided and
perhaps the monsoon has finally paced it in.

Ive resolved the noise issues - Im pretty sure we have a reasonable set
up now and just need the conditions - Im not seeing NPG and can someone
confirm its on, and only small traces of DCF39 at the moment. We are
going into the jungle for a few days to survey a new base location but
hopefully the system will remain logging data. My PC has been giving me
issues here and obviously doesn't like the non air conditioned 100F and
80 % rel humidity of our camp. This morning and at dusk last night I did
see some traces on both Eu and in the Americas watering window but UNIDs
- at that time signals from Eu and West/East coast high powered stations
weren't there so probably just ghosts. Thanks for the signals. I don't
have access to the RSGB LF reflectors site at the moment and wonder is
some kind soul can pass on
