I've just got back from the Leicester Rally/Exhibition at Donington Park.

One dealer had the following W &G test gear on his stall.

SPM12 200Hz - 12MHz?
PS12
SPM19 200Hz - 26MHz
PSS19
PS19
SPM31 200Hz - 620kHz
PS30

He was selling on behalf of someone and was asking £200 for each piece of
equipment.
I told him that I thought that this was too high but he didn't have the
authority to bargain.

If anyone wants to talk to the guy when he gets back from Donington he can
be contacted on 0161 718 7611.

I also saw an SPM-3 for £40 and the SPM-3's companion tracking generator
PS-3? for £20

Some dealers that specialize in test equipment are asking up to £500 for
these SPM devices.
If you need the equipment then the above prices are about right, if you are
not sure and just want to play then its expensive. Any of the above items
and Siemens pegelmessers that I have seen at rallies fetch between £100 -
£200 in fact you do not often see them.
Test equipment generally seems expensive although there is the odd bargain
about if you are lucky. Like you might get one for a fiver!!!!!!!!!!!
