Also S3 here on a 17 turn 80 cm loop designed for cave radio on 88 kHz and
not retuned.

Many thanks gentlemen for all your efforts.

Hi All, for what it is worth I can copy a recognisable pattern from the
beacon transmission with 90dB of attenuation inserted in front of the
receiver. I am using the usual parameters for 3sec dot QRS (500msec time
scale and averaging of 5) The signal at this level is equivalent to 5nV at
the input of the RX, but it is not characteristic of what reception would
be
like at distance, as I have attenuated the band noise as well!! The object
was to see if the transmission pattern would be recognisable at threashold
levels.....I guess it is.
You are doing a great job fellas
Cheers de Alan G3NYK
