I just checked my Datong upconverter on 9 khz and although the spec limit is 90 khz it is fairly good on sensitivity down to at least 8 khz.

Using my 136 khz antenna array and not resonant on 9 khz. This compares well with my pegelmesser around 9 khz.

At present there is some static but no other unwanted noises in fact low LF is vy quiet around here and well suited for listening for LF signals.
