If it is local, try flipping the main switch to your house to see
if your own gear is the culprit.

This is good advice. I once went to a lot of trouble to take a receiver and
DF antenna out into the street to find which of my neighbours was causing me
bad pulse interference on 160m. After half an hour, I found a faulty central
heating controller in my own airing cupboard just above the shack!
