Finnagle strikes again.
Apologies to anyone who called me last night and got no ack or who wondered
whose was the very thin signal on 137.68something. I put a few more tapping
points on the coil yesterday to improve matching but everything seemed to go
pearshaped thereafter. Only noticed this afternoon, after many hours of
hair-tearing, that one of the toploading wires had parted company and the
broken end was feeding the leylandii. This must have coincided with the
doing of the mods as everything was hunky-dory yesterday morning.
Things look rather better tonight.
