22.
Dear friends,
the
MW-beacon DI2AG on 440.044KHz is now on air since two years. Last winter Dave -
AA1A - sometimes could receive the
QRSS30- or QRSS10-signals near Boston. The ERP was 2W, locator
JN59NO.
This year I
will make an expedition to a much better location 100Km north of Frankfurt in
JO40BP, 653ms asl. The mountain is called "Fuchskaute", in English something
like "fox hollow". A three-wires-antenna, 30m up, 30m long and good ground
conditions should enable higher efficiency and the max. power of 9W
ERP. Preferred mode will be QRSS3.
Please tune your equipment to DI2AG on 440.044KHz. Maybe you can even hear the
signal?
QSL by mail, screeenshot ( ARGO or other programs ) or
QSL-card are welcome. I will confirm by a special QSL-card from
DI2AG.
Hopefully st. Peter will not throw a big amount of snow on the site as long as I
will be there.
Summary: Dec. 15. to Dec. 22. 2006 /
hopefully 24Hrs a day
