This question has been posed before on the reflector and the answer is the same: the gas pipe is also used as safety earth for our electricity supply. In case of a short circuit to earth tens of amps wil flow through that pipe. As that is apparantly considered acceptable I don't worry about my 1.8A of RF current. 73, Dick, PA0SE |
