I checked 500 early this morning around 0200 and 0500 z and heard nothing from the USA . At this distance this band will probably be more like 160m, sometimes good and others bad depending on prop, whereas 136 khz is more consistant even in poor condx usually some bit of signal gets here.

Any chance to get a 505kc grabber? From 505.00kc to 507.00kc would be OK. It would have to be set for plain CW as the US guys are only running regular CW.
