I think that most of you know that I have to fold my antenna mast over
during the day because of planning restrictions. This means that I get to
transmit on LF a good deal less than I would like to. However I do listen on
136 using my loop. Today I heard OK1DTN tuning up with a big signal and then
calling CQ a few times. I couldn't resist the temptation to raise the mast
and give him a call. If you heard some strange CW coming from G3LDO this
morning the reeason is because when I came to plug in the electronic keyer I
found that its battery was flat so I used the QRSS system on 0.1 second
dots, a very cumbersom CW operating procedure. Nevertheless we did have a
QSO.
Worked G3XIZ and F6CNI late this afternoon.

Regards,
Peter, G3LDO
