Hi Mal,

Presuming that the RJ45 is an 8 way connector you can readily obtain 1, 2
&
4 way face plates for CAT5e network terminations, also you can obtain
patch
panels from 16 way upwards for cabinet installations so you could possibly
obtain something like that & parallel the sockets to your requirements.
these are available from my local supplier CPC in Preston who are part of
the Farnell group so you could try Farnell over there.

Hi Gary
Tnx for the info and all the others that responded but it does not solve the
problem because there is a min charge of £10
and the sockets only cost 70 pence each. I did however do some searching
around Scarboro and a local PC business consortium that build computers let
me have a couple free of charge.

Hi Mal,

Since RJ45 is commonly used for Ethernet, you should be able to
find the F/F adapter at most shops that sell or install computer
network equipement. If not, try the guys who do business phone
systems. However, a three-way socket block may be hard
to find, because common uses of RJ45 (Ethernet, ISDN, T1/E1,
console cables) allow only point-to-point connections.

  Hi All
I need a RJ45 inline female/female connector and cannot find any in the
High
St
shops or Electrical shops. They do have male/male cables but not female.
There
are millions available on the internet but only in large quantities.
I need preferably a 3 way female socket block so that I can insert a male
plug
into it with the facility to plug 2 male plugs into the output for
separate
devices. Does anyone know of a source for a single device.
