Three or four years ago, at an LF convention at Windsor, this aspect of
saving material from the LF reflector was discussed. I volunteered to do
this and made a start and the results can be seen on my website; but
because
there was hardly any feedback so I did not continue.
However, I have continued to store the information under headings in
Outlook
Express. For example there are 103 messages under Jason, 163 under coils
and
144 under LF antennas. Furthermore I do an archive save when the messages
reach the 1000 mark.
Editing this material is no small task. Many of the messages contain
layers
of full scripts of previous messages, which all has to be sorted out.
I would be happy to archive this material if anyone thought it was
worthwhile. The way it is presented can be seen on my website.
The method I use is to convert each message into separate text files for
editing then import them into Frontpage for the web.
Is there an easier way of doing this?
