Hi Walter thanks for that, I probably was a bit muddled in my posting.....I
have a manual for the SPM-3...it is the manual for the PS-3 that I was
seeking. Yes I guess that most of them have duff batteries by now. I believe
there is enough room in the battery compartment to fabricate a pack out of
AA cells, but I have not tried this, because my units still hold charge
reasonably well.
