Joe, here the sound comes in definitely with 16 bits, and also the 16-bit wav files are at the right level. I was actually speculating that there might be a high/low byte (little vs big endian) issue

Hi Stefan Of course it is difficult to get steady reading because of the pulsing the noise, but I think we get the idea WSPR2 11 sits at 0dB for the same audio level for WSJTX whilst WSPR2 shows -25d
