Hi Dave, LF, I get about 25% decode from Graham G0NBD who is about 35-40 miles from me, all weaker signals decode OK. As it is a weak signal mode the stronger signals must be a cause of non-decodes.

I have just been doing some more tests on 30m. Clock errors might well have been part of the problem. Initially on 30m the few decodes I was seeing were showing a DT of over 3s, so I had a play with

Dave, Looks to be the same problem I had at the end of last year with a delta-4 pci sound card , the card worked fine for data modesand did not need to have a clock adjustment, however it produced so

OK, it looks as if the sound card clock synch error is the problem. As suggested I have been trying recording for the first minute of each period then stopping - by the simple expedient of switching
