Alberto I don't know about the price but I wasn't too impressed with the receiver when I used Graham's (G3XTZ) on 136 at the HF convention. Sensitivity and stability aren't a problem (they have a nic

Dave, Laurie and Tracey, thanks indeed for your considerations about the RA1792. I had thought it were indeed a "premium receiver", as owning it qualifies you for membership in the premium-receivers

I would add: quite easy to maintain, no custom ICs, only a few outdated parts but still available on the market. The synthesizer is remarkably performant, and the 3rd order IMD is in the 102-103 dB

I used an RA1792 for all my narrow band LF work, and it was performed admirably. The PLL synthesizers appear to have good phase noise performance, and they can be used down to 8kHz - at which point y

Dear Alberto, Here are some further comparisons (bearing in mind I don’t own a R75!): The RA1792 has flat sensitivity from about 100kHz – 30MHz (about 0.3uV for 12dB SNR in SSB bandwidth)

Alberto I know you are waiting for my opinion about this RX. I would not buy this old technology with degraded components at the prices that suppliers are asking both in the UK and other parts of EU
