Hello Geoff, a pity you cannot climb the tower or in any other way get a couple of wire up to the top. Shunt feeding will be very difficult as you will face a impedance of only a few micro-Ohms. So y

There has been lots of comment on how difficult it would be to shunt match a grounded tower, but no-one has commented on how to resonate the antenna. It seems to me that the matching is the easy bit.
