Stephan, I rarely show up on the PSK reporter site from my home QTH. Maybe it's a router/port thing. The site in Maine is usually OK. John, W1TAG/WD2XES
Mike, All, It worked! Thanks to the successful (and unsuccessful) observers. I agree that this had less to do with ionospheric prop than the lower noise level before dawn. There were a number of repo
Stephan, Actually, Jay was talking about transmitting OP8 also tonight. Not sure of his plans. I will run XES until well after your sunrise. John, W1TAG/WD2XES Wow, now there is much going on tonite
Q What's 'super low power' in W speak ?? At the moment, about 6 milliwatts out of the transmitter. ERP would be better expressed in microwatts, but is unknown. John, W1TAG
John, Do you have the s/n levels ? 150 mtr wire on the ground ..... actually on the ground , far end open cct ? Tnx -G. From: [email protected][email protected] Sent: Sunday, August 12, 2012 1:12 PM
Stephan, I just got home at 0200Z, and will leave the receiver running in OP8 overnight. John, W1TAG After finishing the next sequence in OP32 (hopefully reaching UA4WPF) i would like to try OP8 over
Graham, Jay and I both ran Opera on January 22 on 136 kHz. Had reports from W4DEX and others - no TA. John, W1TAG Looks like Stefan is running over night OP8 Just hope VE7BDQ is not exactly on 137.7
Graham, Don't bother! Jay and I are running some very QRP tests on 506 kHz, and they would not likely be copied outside of this area. John, W1TAG / WE2XGR/3 ALL de WE3XGR (United States): Beacon Op4

Graham, I'm assuming that you're just kidding. The paths to Moscow are shorter, at higher latitude, and generally don't include the thunderstorm levels we have in the eastern U.S. John, W1TAG

Just a hint -- the PSK08 and slower modes in SpecLab require pretty accurate tuning, and for PSK02 and 01, calibration of the actual "sound card" sampling rate may be needed. These modes are moderate
Same here on a similar screen. John, W1TAG We2xpq will be running a constant (hopefully) phase locked/stable carrier on 137.78000 kHz from 0200 to 1700Z tonight 23rd Oct (thats sundown till sunup Ala
Dimitrios, I believe that JA7NI typically uses that frequency. John, W1TAG I don't get to see many traces in my grabber so naturally I am quite excited when this happens. Who will claim this partial

Stefan, Amazing signal last night. Screen after screen of complete callsigns, with little indication of deep fading until 0500 UTC. The final fadeout was around 0610. John, W1TAG I'm back in good old
