Why not use the signal from one of the LF time clocks, and correct by offsetting the distance. Since this is being used for LF transmission, the communications system must be propagation phase change

I would agree that a qso on slow morse could take a few hours during a session and that would be acceptable but to call back next day with a reply is stupid and not credible. I can think of a number

Alan is right,when I was at Hanslope I saw the 807 distribution amps and also some using EF80s the red metal case valve . Those Rhombic ants were enormous so I guess the signals were pretty large. 7
