has anyone tried a DDRR antenna on LF there is info on them in one of the arrl antenna books and I use one on 144 very small but appears to work as well as a 5/8 wave appears as a small horziontal lo

well I agree but on note indicates that the fix also allows to use the wip over the loop stick,,, not sure there is much use to tune lower than the standard 100 K at that range it works pretty well o

I was able to mount a porcelain stand off at the same hole the ground lug was mounted to ,, I think I then added a gob of clear silicon from the local hardware store,,, was surprised that it held up,
