This thread prompted me to do a quick A/B test between my LNV (34 feet tall and 7 foot ground rod) with about 300 feet twisted pair to the shack. It is in the trees about the same as N1BUGs and a PA0

If it was plugged into US 230v both Black and White would be hot. Mains feed here is 2 hots and Neutral hot to Neutral 115v hot to hot 230v (feed is from a center tapped transformer on the pole). WB5
