Ive only had partial success in low long wires up in Alaska - but my s/n failure was due to a 33Kv or more power line running parallel underground just a few feet below the array for most of the way

I have a couple here and they are used as general receivers +24, and proven hard to beat in most envirions. Not as good as the TS870 on 137, but there again nothing has beaten it signal handling wise
