Hello  EbNauters,

Many thanks Rob for your trials.
Your beacon is giving me the opportunity to reactivate and test the 'autodecoder' based on linux programs from Paul Nicholson (vlfrx-tools).

Setup here: miniwhip antenna and JRC receiver NRD92M referenced by Epslon Clock GPS/10MHz generator.
By the way, catching your signal
0 in jn80nu is really a challenge due to the high noise present. So i have crossed fingers!

I'm sure that autodecoder will fail tonight but i will try also the manual decode tomorrow by adding some time or frequency offsets.

All the best.

Hello LFers,

I will be running a trial EbNaut beacon on 2200m this weekend (24, 25 and 26 August) to make sure everything plays together and the smoke stays in the wires & components.

Details:
Freq  137477.00 Hz, Coding 8K19, CRC 16, 3 sec symbols, 13 character message, Duration 44:48.00, Starting on the hour @ 1 watt EIRP.  The transmitted signal & carrier include a 10 minute on-off CW ID at 20 WPM running on top of the EbNaut carrier.

Reports, observations and comments welcome :-)

Rob - K3RWR
