I went out twice last night to change taps on the LF matching transformer as the temperature plummeted. Awoke to find a frozen drain pipe this morning. But on a positive note, static levels on LF are down! I beg to differ. For the average amateur radio operator like myself, EbNaut is absolutely incomprehensible. The first thing people want to know is what equipment is required for LF EbNaut and how much is this going to cost? But answers are hard to come by. I could never get an answer as to whether my HP 3325B with high stability option was good enough. When I asked about amplifiers for EbNaut I was told linear is a must, but now I find people are doing it with nonlinear amplifiers. How are we to learn? I really wish someone would write LF EbNaut for Dummies. If I could somehow come to grips with it, *I* would be more than happy to write practical articles for those coming behind who will also be struggling. 73, Paul On 12/9/18 12:52 PM, jcraig@mun.ca wrote: > Hi Paul, > > More snow last night, but I waited for the plough this time! > I don't use a linear amp for EbNaut, and a DOCXO is good enough > for LF (but not VLF).
