Subject: LF: SlowJT9 update (v0.9.11)

Dear all,

I just uploaded a now beta-release of SlowJT9 (v0.9.11).

Just some bugs fixed:

- Fatal bug that could cause a crash if = the=20 soundcard was not found fixed.
- Non fatal bug that caused wrong = audio=20 frequency limitations for JT9.EXE fixed.
- Non fatal bug that caused = a slight=20 timing error fixed. This maybe give that extra 0.1dB you need to = complete the=20 ultimate DX QSO ;-)

Be=20 aware that due to the baudrate changes there is NO BACKWARD = COMPATIBILITY for=20 JT9-2 and JT9-5 to version prior to 0.9.10. =

In other words: = JT9-2 and=20 JT9-5 send with v0.9.11 cannot be decoded with versions v0.9.00 - = v0.9.03 and=20 vice versa.=20

The JT9-1 mode however is still the same and can be sent / received = with all=20 versions (and is WSJT-X compatible).

The sole purpose of this version is to determine how JT9-2, = and=20 eventually JT9-5, behave in relation to the previous versions, so we can = decide=20 wether SlowJT9 will proceed with the original parameters (anno 2013) = that imply=20 an odd baudrate ratio between the JT9 submodes or my previous = parameters, with=20 "round number" ratios.

Therefore all test reports, remarks, suggestions and opinions = are=20 most welcome.

For the same reason no other changes are applied.

I want to thank everybody who gave feedback, suggestions and bug = reports over=20 the past weeks, this was very much appreciated!

Whoever is interested can download the SlowJT9 installation file at = http://472khz.org/Sl= owJT9/SlowJT9_setup.exe.

For now only a Windows version of SlowJT9 is available. But as the = used IDE=20 has cross platform facilities it should be possible to support other = operating=20 systems as well in the future.
