From the west coast, we rarely face this problem! On nights like last night, QRM above 1000 can be a problem and it's always good to be able to co-ordinate on one of the LF chat pages to secure a clear QRG at both ends whenever possible. Steve **************** Steve Hello Steve, all, maybe we should separate "local" and DX QSO's, eg. local above 1000Hz and DX below 1000Hz audio (474.2kHz dial, USB). In combination with an agreement on Europe transmitting the even minutes and North America the odd minutes this should minimze the chances on QRM. 73, Rik ON7YD - OR7T ________________________________________ Van: owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org namens Steve Verzonden: zaterdag 24 november 2018 19:31 Aan: rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org Onderwerp: Re: LF: JT9 MF wide open towards NA tonight GA Rolf ... I saw via PSK reporter that you were hearing me on JT9 throughout the early evening. I kept checking the ON4KST chat page or the #kHz page to try and co-ordinate with you but never did see you there. I called you blindly several times but I purposely moved down the band below 1000 to hopefully be able to see your response better. All of your replies were around +1300 which is heavily crowded here with WSPR and other digital stuff so little possibility to see you that high in the band. Perhaps you are not permitted to transmit lower? If you will be on tonight, we might try again and if able to respond on my CQ frequency we should have a better chance I think.
