Hi Stefan,

for QSO's we would need the slower JT9 versions (JT9-2 and so on), not WSPR.
Does anyone know what WSJT-X version(s) supported JT9-2?

I remember it worked well. But of course not on Windows10.

QSO partners will be very limited anyway.
They didn't fail with this version, they failed with Windows10!

As mentioned, there is the special program from DF6NM which allows to
run WSPR-15 together with the latest version of WSPR-2. But it is not
just a thing of a few mouse clicks to get it running. You need to learn
how it works and how to install, which already leads to limited QSO
partners...
