This was an issue of older WSJT-X software versions (1.7 ??), the 
current version WSJT-X 1.9.1 does not have that problem. It arose from 
the use of smaller (than 2500Hz) IF-filters. This is no longer a 
problem. I'm using 250 Hz Filters for WSPR and WSJT-X 1.9.1 works well.
