Between you and that station there is only water (and ice) i think. Just a 5000 km distance and you could be the first one who "works" that continent on 630m. So far, as i understand, that can only receive WSPR (not QRSS...) so it is worth to try to become QRV in that mode. Probably i will have to tell them to listen on that band once you are ready. It is very good that you have someone in 1660 km distance who can receive you! 73, GL, Stefan --_000_FR1P152MB0519880A7F07FF3FFA64675D9B780FR1P152MB0519LAMP_ Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

Oscar,

some weeks ago i've been in contact with the man who controls the
multi-band WSPR monitor at Neumayer III station in Antarctica! Between
you and that station there is only water (and ice) i think. Just a 5000 km distance and you could be the first one who "works" that conti= nent on
630m. So far, as i understand, that can only receive WSPR (not QRSS...) so it is worth to try to become QRV in that mode.
Probably i will have to tell them to listen on that band once you are
ready. It is very good that you have someone in 1660 km distance who can receive you!

73, GL, Stefan
