Hi Domenico, Stefan,

thank you for the reports.

I had problems with the RX/TX switch during the transmission at 23:00 UT and 00:00 UT.

Since the generator has no PTT of course, I have to divert the generator signal after the transmission into a dummy load otherwise the PA runs all night in "Key-Down" mode. Since I couldn't think of anything better, I used a virtual machine under XP. There runs parallel to the EbNaut-TX a WSJT-X 0.95 (the last version with the slow JT-9 modes) in JT9-30. This JT9-30 controls my coax relay via RS232 and separates the generator from the PA... adventurous ;o)

Unfortunately this old WSJT-X crashed from time to time, so again last night. At 01:30 local time I had to bridge the coax relay for the transmissions to continue.

The TX chain here looks like this:

Generator: HP3326A with GPSDO

Interface to K3RWR in which the phase is switched with a relay-controlled bias voltage.

PA: Hafler 9505 with 200W out = 0.2W ERP

I will extend the test until the weekend, Sunday is over and the antenna will be dismantled. We had heavy thunderstorms the day before yesterday and after last summer's lightning strike I don't take any more risks :o)

Hi Joe,

Good copy here as well.

Hey  guys,

I will start my first serious EbNaut transmission tonight, the 3326A is now GPSDO supported,  the drift is fixed.

Markus, DF6NM decoded me last night with qrppp.

So I'll be TX´in every full hour:

*f = 137524.5000 Hz

Start time: 12.APR.2018  18:00:00 UTC (at hourly intervals)

Symbol period: 3 s

Characters: 5

CRC bits: 16

Coding 8K19A

Duration: 25:36 min

Abt. 0.2 W ERP

Reports are welcome.
