Hi Mal,

I would very much like to try a JT9 MF QSO with you. I am not yet 
set up for QRSS, but am working toward that capability. We use JT9 
in North America and I have worked VE7SL at 4050 Km when I had 4 dB 
less EIRP than I have now. We will have no trouble at all if we can 
catch some luck with the QSB. How do you suggest we proceed? I am 
usually logged into ON4KST chat but I don't recall having seen you 
there.

On MF my EIRP is 5W and the transmitting antenna is a Marconi T, 90 
feet vertical with three 100 foot top hat wires.

It is very disappointing to see such low activity on LF. I am 
personally more fascinated by LF than MF but there is so little 
activity down there it is discouraging. Nevertheless I will be back 
to LF as soon as I repair some problems with the loading coil.

For now I am once again QRF on MF, running a WSPR beacon and looking 
for JT9 QSOs...
