Looks like there is a lot to investigate in this field and that is good. Wide room for further investigations :-) Jacek, you mentioned what I was midnight oiling here " If you want some semi-DX in the H-field, then try coupling into some long conductors (pipes, power lines, railway tracks etc)" What about coupling the loop to my 90m vertical ? Adding another transformer from loop to vertical or just winding some coils of the vertical over the small loop ring would work ? Of course a tuned vertical with a huge coil would work better and run more current. But it is very hard for me to get more than 180pF antenna capacity and that means 2mH coil for 8270Hz :( Looks like this is something "easier" to test than winding super coils What do you think about the coupling system ? 73 de Luis EA5DOM ________________________________________ De: owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org [owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org] en nombre de DK7FC [selberdenken@posteo.de] Enviado: sábado, 3 de febrero de 2018 17:57 Para: rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org Asunto: Re: LF: VLF Small magnetic antenna for Tx Or here: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nahfeld_und_Fernfeld_(Antennen)#Nahfeld 73, Stefan Am 03.02.2018 11:24, schrieb Clemens Paul: > Hi Jim, > > >> At 38kHz the impedance of the transmitting loop’s field at 100 >> meters is ~ 25 ohms, >> > I've found a graph showing Z_Wave over D/ʎ. > Near the loop: Z_wave = 377*(2pi*D) / lambda > > 73 > Clemens > DL4RAJ > > > >> -----Original Message----- >> From: owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org >> [mailto:owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org] On Behalf Of >> hvanesce@comcast.net >> Sent: Thursday, February 1, 2018 11:22 PM >> To: rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org >> Subject: RE: LF: VLF Small magnetic antenna for Tx >>
