Paul,

Good news/bad news here. I found where some of the local wildlife had been snacking on the GPS antenna cable and replaced it.
Now for the bad. I use this antenna on 2200/630/160 meters. I had neglected that fact when I started testing. My setup has
(had) a current transformer mounted on a delrin feed thru just before the antenna connection. The toroid in the transformer
was 78 material, if I recall, and it doesn't like 8 khz at all. Sometime last night it got hot enough to melt the delrin insulator,
and deposit semi melted delrin all over the relays and other components in the box. No real serious damage, except it will take
a little time to clean up. With work and other commitments, it'll probably be 2 - 3 weeks before I'm back on the air.

Thanks for your help, and I'll let you know when I'm ready to test again.

8270.0 is a good frequency, nobody else is on there at the moment.
