Content preview: Thanks for that summary Paul. Especially the good SNR at IK1QFK is impressing! He will have no problem to receive the following 12 character message i guess, when stacking 2 or 3 days. So far i transmitted the message 4 times. That could be enough but Alex told me he will visit the garden tomorrow or Friday, so i better run some more transmissions so we get a very clear decode. He already sent me 2 txt files and i could have a look into them. On the 23th, the message is a -5.0 dB, on the 24th it is at -8.0 dB. Combined is at -3.6 dB. So this looks promising and as expected. Since October it was my goal to send a 12 char message on 5170 Hz over to Moscow before i QSY to 4470 Hz. This may take 2 weeks but i think i will do it anyway. There will still be enough time to experiment on the lower frequencies. Maybe the periodic transmissions will be interrupted for some days on 970 Hz! I hope your H field RX was further improved now? 73, Stefan Am 26.12.2017 08:06, schrieb Paul Nicholson: > > Stefan wrote: > > > f = 5170.1000 Hz > > Start time: 23.Dec.2017 15:30:00 UTC (daily) > > Symbol period: 60 s > > Characters: 3 > > CRC bits: 11 > > Coding 16K21A > > Duration: 13:04 [hh:mm] > > Results from the sites I have signal data for: > > Todmorden (881.2 km) > -------------------- > > 23/24 Eb/N0 +10.6 dB phase 43.4, *Decoded* > 24/25 Eb/N0 +11.8 dB phase 45.7, *Decoded* > 25/26 Eb/N0 +3.4 dB phase 32.8, *Decoded* > > Bielefeld (303.8 km DL4YHF) > --------------------------- > > 23/24 Eb/N0 +16.1 dB phase -51.2, *Decoded* > 24/25 Eb/N0 +15.7 dB phase -50.2, *Decoded* > 25/26 Eb/N0 +15.0 dB phase -50.8, *Decoded* > > Warsaw (919.3 km SQ5BPF) > ------------------------ > > 23/24 Eb/N0 -4.3 dB phase -37.4; > 24/25 Eb/N0 +2.2 dB phase -13.5, *Decoded* > 25/26 Eb/N0 -3.1 dB phase -2.5; > > First Germany to Poland message on 58km band. > > Cumiana (504.6 km IK1QFK) > ------------------------- > > 23/24 Eb/N0 +5.0 dB phase -173.0, *Decoded* > 24/25 Eb/N0 +4.2 dB phase -176.9, *Decoded* > 25/26 Eb/N0 +2.4 dB phase +165.2, *Decoded* > > First Germany to Italy message on 58km band. > > -- > Paul Nicholson > -- >
