Compared with an interpretation of a single DFCW character read out from a spectrogram, this is 'T' to 'M' copy and it could happen in QSB that e.g. a 'C' is interpreted as a 'K' because the last dash is down in the noise. So there is alway the risk for a misinterpretation, in QRSS, in DFCW, in CW, in OP32, even in WSPR and of course also in EbNaut. The noise has been a dB higher last night. Pity! With the same noise level as the night before it would have worked well. But this night i promised to run the 24 hour carrier. I'm starting 15 UTC today running 1.2 A on 17470.1 Hz. 73, Stefan Am 08.12.2017 12:04, schrieb Paul Nicholson: > > Forest decoded '4' from the overnight transmission > 21:30 to 07:06, Eb/N0 = +2.2 dB, rank 23. > > This is a false decode. > > The correct decode is down at Eb/N0 = -1.3 dB, > -39.09 dB in 1Hz. > > Close, but it's going to need another night. > > -- > Paul Nicholson > -- >
