Nighttime signal is quite repeatable, except for 31/1st when there was no trace of the carrier - perhaps it was off? The last two nights the signal is distinctly stronger, did you make some improvements Joe? > Paul mentioned 2.4 and 1.6 electrons on the E probe last spring. > Are these numbers per photon? No, the total induced charge on the E-field probe. At radio and audio frequencies, photons have absolutely miniscule energy. If the recent night S/N continues, combined E and H receivers make it reasonable to try 5 chars of 16K23A with CRC-18 and 26 second symbols, starting at 23:00 and finishing 07:05:20.
