If it degrades over time to produce noise, I would not be able to tell! Perhaps the next new rx will be a differential probe... the ground connection then will only serve to sink any common mode interference coming up the feeder. The new E-field rx is also showing up the poor performance of H rx at the lower frequencies. H is due for replacement/ upgrade next year. That will be a more difficult job! -- Paul Nicholson --
