The corner of the loop ,and the vertical is supported by a long stainless steel cable to a fibreglass scaffolding pole at the top of my crank up mast. Not sure if I should replace the wire with none conductive rope, the two insulators are at the ends of a short length of Dacron rope, then that is tied to the stainless cable to the mast top. The green bin houses the loading coil with variometer within it. The white plastic box on top of the lid of the loading coil drum houses the tapped matching transformer. the RG-213 goes upstairs into my shack where it is fed from the LPF after the combiner. The combiner is to W1VD spec, but instead of a three stacked toroid output transformer I have made an auto transformer on a bobbin core, which runs a lot cooler and seems more efficient. http://www.w1vd.com/137-500-500WCombiner.pdf The LPF is after the combiner. -- Best regards, Chris mailto:dead.fets@gmail.com
