OK for the single coil with vario: it should be placed just at the end (or starting.. ) of the vertical wire. the matching/separator xfmr can be placed between the coil and the coax line to the shack. You can do with just one xfmr. Marco, IK1HSS ----Messaggio originale---- Da: dead.fets@gmail.com Data: 25-giu-2017 12.48 A: Ogg: Re: R: RE: LF: RE: Transformer questions. Hello Marco, It's whatsitting down with rain at the moment but I am moving antenna stuff around today, as soon as it stops I'll grab some photos :) But no, just one loading coil, with the variometer inside it. All will be revealed later :) Sunday, June 25, 2017, 6:52:22 AM, you wrote: > Hi Chris, Hi Clemens, > I'm too a bit confused about location of components.. > do you have 2 coils? one close to the antenna and one with th vario > separated via a coax run? > Marco IK1HSS -- Best regards, Chris mailto:dead.fets@gmail.com
