Part way through one of our transmissions Boki called G4GIR (just after 20.30Z) so we immediately stopped transmitting and replied once he had finished. Boki was obviously not receiving us at all so we eventually gave up. He was only an 'M' signal here and at times completely disappeared into QSB Neither Ian nor I have QRO stations, both only running 100 W so I suspect that under present conditions the chances of Boki receiving us are low. I am surprised that neither UK station have to my knowledge been reported elsewhere. During the previous evening we had also tried to contact Boki without success. Tom did not appear to be receiving us either although he was a solid 'O' signal here. GL to Boki and if I see him calling CQ again I shall certainly reply, maybe using QRSS-6 which should have a better chance of success. 73 Chris / G3XIZ On Thu, Mar 23, 2017 at 9:20 PM, DK1IS wrote: > Hi Boki, > > letting Argo-Capture run to register the QRM made by the new LED street > lamps our urban administration installed some days ago I saw you calling > G3XIZ in vane, see annex. Hel= lo Tom and Boki,

Ian G4GIR and I had arranged to try for a QSO= with Boki last night and
we were both calling him from 20.00Z
= Ian was transmitting on 137.71 kHz QRSS-3 and I was on 137.69 kHz DFCW-6
We had synchronised our transmissions and both signals were clea= rly visible on the G3YXM LF grabber in Birmingham.
Part way throug= h one of our transmissions Boki called G4GIR (just after 20.30Z) so we imme= diately stopped transmitting and replied once he had finished.

Boki was obviously not receiving us at all so we eventually gave up.
He was only an 'M' signal here and at times completely disappea= red into QSB
Neither Ian nor I have QRO stations, both only runnin= g 100 W so I suspect that under present conditions the chances of Boki rece= iving us are low.

I am surprised that neither UK station have = to my knowledge been reported elsewhere.

During the previous e= vening we had also tried to contact Boki without success.
Tom did not ap= pear to be receiving us either although he was a solid 'O' signal h= ere.

Hi Boki,

letting Argo-Capture run to register the QRM made by the new LED street lam= ps our urban administration installed some days ago I saw you calling G3XIZ= in vane, see annex. You are audible OOO again like yesterday. The time sta= mps are in CET, frequency scale 137.xxx kHz.=C2=A0 RX: RX 1001 from Hagenuk= , Ant: Active rod HE-011 from R&S.
