However the soundcard output is inverting relative to the old one. Not a problem. I expect to have much less phase glitches now and no interruptions when accessing the PC remotely. This allows me now to make the time constant of the safety function shorter, 1.6 sec in the moment (3 sec before). There have been lost transmissions in the attempts to transfer 100 characters on 5170 Hz. Maybe this had to do with the old PC too. If the signal is more focused on the frequency now, it could be possible to detect other transmitting stations on the tree while transmitting here. Advantages... :-) So the night transmission is a test of the new system... 73, Stefan Am 03.03.2017 20:17, schrieb DK7FC: > Thanks Markus, Jacek and Eddie for the decodes. > > I'm planning a new message for tonite but still need some time to > build up a new PC into the VLF TX system. The new PC works perfect with the GPS module it seems so far. However the soundcard output is inverting relative to the old one. Not a problem.
I expect to have much less phase glitches now and no interruptions when accessing the PC remotely. This allows me now to make the time constant of the safety function shorter, 1.6 sec inĀ  the moment (3 sec before).
There have been lost transmissions in the attempts to transfer 100 characters on 5170 Hz. Maybe this had to do with the old PC too.
If the signal is more focused on the frequency now, it could be possible to detect other transmitting stations on the tree while transmitting here. Advantages... :-)
So the night transmission is a test of the new system...

Thanks Markus, Jacek and Eddie for the decodes.

I'm planning a new message for tonite but still need some time to build up a new PC into the VLF TX system. The old one has 512 MB RAM, the new one has 2 GB which should make a real difference regarding soundcard glitches. Additionally i'm moving from PPS+NTP to PPS+NMEA.

Announcement follows...
