However the next thing is that GBZ of whatever reference must be available all the time, of course. Alex' spectrogram also showed the lower Alpha trace (11904.7619 Hz) as a feedback information showing that the reference is working (or not). But about half of the time the Alpha trace was blurry, unstable or not present at all, means that GBZ was not available in that distance, at least not with a necessary level. And think about the terminator, a loss of 20 minutes can cost the decode... As you say, the NEO-6M modules work so well and are so cheap and less power consuming, it is not necessary to search for alternatives. No soldering?
