I likewise have gone over there and frozen while cqing away on 630m with the inevitable result ..... zilch!. I have been trying to get my 136 tx finished it is just too miserable to go down to the garage / WS and cut metal so its on the shelf. The sit rep is the Xtal osc and 4060 is made and running and the P/A Circuit board is built it now needs smoke testing and boxing so still 50% more work and its too cold to work out there. How can 160m QSOs over a 1/2mile path be an issue???? Not heard you on 136 Ian have been monitoring all evening but was using my 80m dipole up 4m having said that can get a very strong sig from Mike in Welwyn with that set up. Oh just checked your mail time maybe not...
