The QRN has been spectacularly low in the last few days, i sometimes think there is a fault on the antenna :-) Could you continue to write the table below, 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th, which is completed in a few minutes? It would be interesting to see the result for 11+12+13+14. Also it will be interesting to see if a bad day under say 5 good days (low S/N) anyway rise the SNR of the sum. Or is this already known, theoretically? Probably yes, but good to confirm it here. 18.7 dB + 18.7 dB would be 21.7 dB, theoretically. And 15.9 dB + 18.7 dB + a slight phase variation, that is, ehhhm, well at least 20.3 dB it is not so far from what we would expect. So it seems to make sense to use that technique... 73, Stefan PS: Each day, i'm warming up the coil for exactly 1 hour before the message starts, so there is an additional carrier which may be useful for some experiments. (only the carrier of the 11th has a 90 deg phase shift relative to the other carriers) Am 12.11.2016 19:53, schrieb Paul Nicholson: > > Stefan wrote: > > > f = 6470.00000 Hz > > Start time: 11.11.2016 08:00:00 UTC (Daily repetition) > > Symbol length: 60 s > > Characters: 4 > > > 11th 12th 11th+12th > > Eb/N0 3.9 dB 4.9 dB 6.6 dB > S/N in 35.9uHz 15.9 dB 18.7 dB 20.3 dB > Absolute phase -141.2 deg -134.3 deg -137.5 deg > > -- > Paul Nicholson > -- >
