I think it would be a better solution, and more challenging! Reaching such a distance is not unrealsitic. Maybe you could even install a RX loop pointing to NE/SW. Next, do you know how to set up a spectrogram in SpecLab using something like 10 uHz FFT bin width and a suitable reference signal?
