I've just been trying to use my= new Smart Meter to measure the mains power consumption of on of my 137kHz = transmitters,  the QRP 180 Watt linear Tx.  

I took the display unit out to the shed where the Tx resides an= d fired up the RF.  As soon as I touched the touchscreen controls, ins= tant lockup of the display unit.   Fortunately it had a master reset b= utton.

It certainly  wasn't happ= y with high E-field, as , I'm sure any touchscreen won't be
