It's a rainy day here and i'm winding coils all the time. Soon there will be a first version for 2.97 kHz, just a few kV but good for a first test. It's not easy at all to generate 10 kV at 2970 Hz on a 470 pF antenna!! So i have the antenna available for a first ULF test in the coming days. My VLF preamp has been repaired and is working better now, using an OP27 at 5V DC! I looks like i'm now band noise limited at 5 kHz and maybe just a few dB are missed at 3 kHz. 73, Stefan Am 05.06.2016 21:34, schrieb Paul Nicholson: > 4uHz, a good result for equipment and propagation. > > We are struggling with the QRN.
