H= ello All,

Long story short, after some initial trouble, I have now reconfigured my ATU and are pleased to report the new 60 watt beacon transmitter is on the air continously at 476.5 kHz.

After I was finished tuning up the Marconi antenna with the AA-600 analyzer, I also fine tuned it with the TX at it's lowest power, then the next higher power level, then the next and then finally at full power. The new TX was started at 12 UTC today and ha= s run since. The CW beacon cycle consists of it's callsign and maidenhead at 12 wpm CW and then four 2.5 sec. carriers at about. 60, 30, 15 and 5 watt! s, before it's all repeated again. This also means that the 2.5 watt WSPR beacon is off the air now, so for now I am TX'ing = only in CW beacon mode at 476.5 kHz.

As mentioned earlier, I will probably later set up the beacon for some weak signal modes. I can't do that right now, because I need to flash in other software first and I can only do that at home. So the plan is to let it run as now until the 17'th May, perhaps a little longer. After that the 2.5 watt WSPR beacon will be restarted and run until the next (future) test with an even more enhanced ATU.

I also wan't to say a big thank you to all of you who so kindly have given me tips and help. Needless to! say I am most grateful and thanks to you all.=C2=A0

A= ll reports welcome.

T= hanks...
